Porter Dodson is pleased to announce the promotion of Kate Shawcross to Partner in the Employment team, effective from 1st August 2024.

Kate joined the firm in 2022, relocating from Lancashire to Somerset, and has since become a vital member of the Employment team. She has brought with her a wealth of experience, contributing significantly to the growth of the team and enhancing the firm’s presence and profile across the South West.

Kate’s expertise spans all aspects of employment law. She primarily represents employers across a diverse range of sectors, as well as senior executives and employees. Her work includes providing day-to-day HR advice, handling Employment Tribunal claims, and advising on the employment aspects of business transactions.

Based in the Taunton office, Kate is strategically positioned to serve clients throughout the South West and beyond. She offers the flexibility to meet clients at their preferred location or virtually.
