It is now a requirement when submitting an incorporation of a new company at Companies House to include a registered email address. This email address will not be published on the public register, however, Companies House will use this email address to communicate with you about your company. It is therefore important to choose an appropriate email address, and it is maintained as such.
A registered email address can be changed at any time by using the online ‘update a registered email address’ service. We would be happy to assist with this aspect and would require the Companies House authentication code for the relevant Company/Companies in order to do so.
You can register the same email address for more than one company. Existing companies will need to give a registered email address when they file their next confirmation statement online and will be prompted to do so (if one is not already registered).
