Based in the Wellington office, Ben Simpson brings over 15 years of extensive expertise in advising individuals and families on matters of wealth protection, tax mitigation, and succession planning. As a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Ben's focus extends to providing comprehensive support to a diverse client base, spanning the West Somerset area. His proficiency encompasses drafting tax-efficient wills, the preparation of LPAs and efficiently administering estates. Ben's deep-rooted connections to West Somerset equip him with a clear understanding of his clients' specific needs, particularly those of families and farmers.
Chris Dickinson, also a full member of STEP, joins Porter Dodson's Taunton office after eight years at a prestigious law firm in Essex. With a relocation to Somerset, Chris now extends his expertise across the entire Somerset and Devon region. Specialising in guiding individuals through the complexities of wills, LPAs, and estate administration during times of bereavement, Chris brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
