Porter Dodson was excited to take to the water for another year, competing in the annual RNLI Raft Race at West Bay in Dorset. A team of advisors from Bridport, supported by colleagues from across the firm, built a 6-person raft, complete with Porter Dodson branding and High Court Judge costumes to take on the local competition.
The team were thrilled to be placed 5th out of 19 rafts, and to come away with the award for the Best Dressed rowers.
The event is a fantastically organised fundraiser for the RNLI, drawing crowds from across West Bay and Bridport and providing a real spectacle for holidaymakers in the area. More importantly, the event has raised over £2,000 to date, with donations still coming in, which is so important in order for the RNLI to continue their life saving efforts at sea.
Huge thanks to all of our helpers and supporters, in particular to Bay Paddle Boarding at West Bay who kindly leant us the paddles.
We are already looking forward to next year!
