On Sunday 17th September, the Porter Dodson netball team made the trip to London to debut in the Law Society Sevens Netball, an annual one-day tournament bringing together some of the biggest law firms and chambers from across the country.
Hosted at Richmond Athletic Ground, the Porter Dodson team faced stiff competition from Linklaters, CMS, only losing by one point, and finally a draw against Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. The team put in a tremendous effort and had a fantastic time, and certainly hope to be back again next year.
Closer to home, Team PD are part of the SASP In It Together Autumn Social League and are looking forward to building on last year’s success, with their first game on 21st September.
