I joined Porter Dodson in 2023 and have previously worked for other law firms in the Southwest. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and have won the Cook and Hatchard’s Law Prize.
I help individuals who lack mental capacity and assist their family/friends. I manage the financial affairs of clients where we act as their attorney or deputy. I deal with a variety of Court of Protection applications which range from the appointment of deputies to making statutory wills. I can act for incapable people or applicants in health and welfare disputes and advise clients on the payment of care fees.
I collaborate with clients and their family/carers to help them navigate the legal and practical complexities they face. I listen to my clients and provide an empathetic and compassionate approach to help them reach their goals. I work hard to develop long term trusted relationships with my clients.
I enjoy spending time with my family, and I am chair of a local charity committee that provides care to children. If I have time to myself, I enjoy swimming, reading and trips to the theatre.
I have been extremely well supported during a very challenging time by Charlotte Cole from Porter Dodson. I have received responses to my questions and concerns in a very efficient manner, which has been very reassuring. Furthermore, I have been very impressed about the depth of knowledge from Charlotte, regarding my Power of Attorney application. I will be definitely using Porter Dodson again.
Smart, efficient, and friendly.
