    The Role

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our high performing marketing team in our Taunton office. The is a new and exciting role within the marketing team where you will have the opportunity to build new relationships and manage and grow existing ones to maximise client and referrer value. You will play a pivotal role within this small yet efficient team, working closely with the Marketing and Growth Manager and Managing Partner.

     

    About You

    Working closely with the marketing team, fee earners and other staff across the business, this role would best suit someone who is proactive and enthusiastic with great attention to detail and the ability to communicate with people at all levels. The successful candidate has demonstrable experience as a business development manager or relevant alternative role, with experience of growing existing customers and developing new business in a professional services environment. You will ideally have the following experience and qualifications:

    • Experience in marketing, lead generation and sales

    • Experience in building and using CRM data for marketing and sales

    • Experience in building new relationships and managing/growing existing ones to maximise client and referrer value

    • Experience and interest in business insight, market and competitor analysis

    • Show strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills

    • Some experience in formal and informal tender work and applications would be beneficial but not essential
