As part of our commitment to early careers and engaging with those interested in exploring a career in law, we offer a structured one-week work experience programme. This initiative is designed to provide valuable insight into the legal profession, helping to shape the future of the legal community.
Our programme is unpaid and can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis, tailored to suit your availability. Each placement includes a personalised timetable outlining:
• Hands-on experience with real legal work
• Time spent with experienced fee earners across different departments
• Opportunities to observe client meetings and participate in legal projects
We offer work experience placements on a rolling basis which means there is no set timeframe for application or when the work experience can take place. Applications are reviewed on a fortnightly basis and to be considered, you will need to ensure your application includes:
• A current CV and cover letter outlining your background and motivation
• The office locations you can attend
• Your availability (specific dates or timeframes you are available)
• The legal departments you are most interested in, if you have a preference
Our work experience programme is open to individuals aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, you are welcome to apply in the lead-up to your 18th birthday.
If you’re eager to explore what a career in law could look like for you, we encourage you to apply!
